We have served as missionaries for over 40 years, been married for more then 30 years, have three amazing children, and have been blessed with five grandchildren. Since 2013, we’ve been privileged to minister Restoring the Foundations to many, while also seeking to personally incorporate the four key ministry areas as a lifestyle.
Dave Barry
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I accepted Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord at a sports camp in Santa Barbara, California on June 20, 1973. I have been a missionary for over 40 years serving in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Philippines, Hong Kong, Southern California, Greater Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, and now Fountain Inn, South Carolina. I love to lead or go on short-term mission trips locally, nationally, and internationally. I am a healthcare chaplain and have served in hospitals and in hospice work. We are RTF Healing House Network Ministers with Restoring the Foundations having completed the 5 months of live-in, full-time training from Jan. 6 to May 30, 2013. I love to see people healed and set free by our Father God and receive the life-long, self-ministry skills of RTF. I am committed and flexible to make this happen.
Jocelyn Barry
I grew up in Hong Kong in a nominally Buddhist family through my high school graduation when I moved to Vancouver, BC Canada for college. I placed my faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord through Campus Crusade for Christ on my college campus in 1972. Following my master’s degree at Florida State University, I served with Canada Campus Crusade for Christ in Saskatoon and Calgary for 5 years before I met Dave. I have been a cross-cultural missionary for 43 years and love to mentor, teach, train, and disciple women.
After working together for three years in Manila, Jocelyn married Dave in the Philippines on February 5, 1983. We have lived and ministered in Hong Kong, the Philippines, Southern California, and since 2010 in North and South Carolina. We have three adult children, Corrie, Daniel and Jessie, who all know and love Jesus Christ. Each is married to a godly helpmate. We are blessed with three grandsons, one grand daughter and a fifth grand child is due August 25, 2016. Dave and I usually visit California twice a year and are willing to pray about gong to where you are for you to receive ministry.
